Space Invaders Video Arcade Game of 1978 by Midway at www.pinballrebel.com


A simple game of shoot the bad guys that took the arcade world by storm.  It had several sequels
and many bootleg copies.


Bright colors and dangerous aliens look at you from the side art.



Control is by one three buttons.  Two to move and one to fire.



The screen below appears to be color but it is not.  The game used color sheets over a
black and white monitor to achieve a simple color look.



The monitor actually did not face the player but was reflected by a mirror in the cabinet.



Space Invaders is a classic.
